Team Read
Students in the primary grades who are not meeting grade level expectations in reading have access to a specialized reading intervention program. Second and third graders are referred to Team Read by their classroom teacher in the fall trimester, and first graders in the winter trimester. Team Read utilizes a very systematic phonics-based approach to teaching work attack skills.
