PLEASE CHECK YOUR PLAY PRACTICE CALENDAR;PRACTICES START NOV. 30. PROGRESS REPORTS: Progress reports will be sent home every Friday. Please review them with your child, then sign and return. These reports are broken down by various subjects, then further broken down into categories such as homework/classwork, projects, tests and quizzes, etc. Please note the category "Most recent test" to know how your child did on the last test they took in that subject area. Please also note the "homework" grade in math only indicates that your child made a GOOD FAITH effort (with work) to do the homework, it does not indicate how well they did on the homework. If your child has a low "mixed review" grade, which covers material previously taught that they are now responsible for, please encourage your child to go back in the textbook to review before attempting the problem. Any MISSING ASSIGNMENTS will also be posted on your child's progress report. Late assignments are not accepted, which means these factor in as a zero towards your child's grade. Keeping up with homework and classwork assignment, including Accelerated Reader, is a major responsibility of 6th grade. Please commend your child if all assignments have been turned in .************************************ » read more...
